Visionary Voices: Echoes of Inner Worlds

Visionary Voices: Echoes of Inner Worlds opens to the public on June 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM at the Leonora Carrington Museum. Bringing together 20 selected international artists, the exhibition presents a diverse constellation of visionary voices within one of Mexico’s most important spaces dedicated to Surrealist art.

Beyond showcasing remarkable artwork, the exhibition creates a space where shared practices and distinct artistic languages converge, inviting visitors into an immersive journey through the enchanted atmosphere of Xilitla, a place where visionaries such as Edward James and Leonora Carrington once shaped the dreams that inspired their work.

Nestled within the lush landscapes of the Huasteca jungle, Xilitla remains a living symbol of Mexican surrealism, where imagination and nature intertwine, transforming all who wander through its mystical paths.

Alongside the exhibition, participating artists will gather for a special shared experience designed to inspire connection, creativity, and exploration through a three-day journey celebrating the enduring spirit of art within this extraordinary landscape.
